Here I was making gifs of the McLaren P1 last week this time and here I am now with a son in my lap and I don't know what happened in the time in between.
I don't recall much except that seeing my son the first time last week might well be the best thing that has happened in my life so far. And now I'm looking for infant race suits. He's going to be 2035 WDC after all :)
Also, I saw a bmw wagon and an old white dude in a beetle convertible. Think it was a good day.

congrats on the new one, sorry about your sleep; I feel your pain though. Good news is they become your best buds pretty soon. I just got back from a daddy daughter weekend with my 2 year old We spent 14 of the last 28 hours in the car together and I still can't get enough of her.

Well, have fun while it lasts. An hour and a 1/2 ago, I was using my shop vac to clean up the water in the bath after my daughter overflowed the toilet. Good times, good times. Kids, they do try your patience, then they make you proud to be a Dad. My son is on his way to get his Weblo's badge and Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts, and my daughter is acting in a play, a big step for a girl with Aspergers/autism. Put your son in a car seat, strap him in the back seat, and go for a brisk drive. My kids loved that, and it also got them too sleep. Always a good thing.

Congrats on the newborn. Also condolences to your sleep. I hope you remember what that feels like because it will be a while before you get to sleep again. But worth it. Even at 4 in the morning when you have to wake up at 6 and they are just cuddling and smiling at you.
I need coffee and I don't foresee being productive today.
